I just don’t know where to begin really. My last post stated I had made it to Colorado. All I can say its been a great ‘ride’ so far. I have been meeting some amazing people and getting plugged in where I can. Its been a great transition of this new life so far and I am thankful for taking the risk. God has been gracious and blessed me beyond what I even deserve. I struggled a bit with this move at first really, I mean I spent 27 years of my life in Pennsylvania. Why change anything? Why do something different? I’m sure on many minds it was something crazy and silly, something I was doing on a whim. Perhaps. But I believe not. (I’ll share some of the reasons in another post, hopefully sooner than later.) Its late and I am tired. I really should be in bed. But I felt I needed to write something. I felt I should know that I am still alive. I have images to share from Cornerstone and some of my other travels that I just haven’t gotten to yet. These past two weeks have been busier than I had imagined, and for that I am grateful.
Anyway a big prayer request at the moment is for employment. Pray that God would provide. Pray for these new relationships and friendships that I am forming as well.

I know how you feel. I quit my job in June and I’m moving this weekend. I have a place to live, but no job as of yet.
I knew God was calling me to do something else, something big and out-of-the-box, but now is that trust part where you wait and listen. I’m not going to lie, it sucks some days, especially when people go, “So you got a job yet?”
It’s nice to know I’m not the only one out there who took the leap of faith, trusting that God would show up in his own timing.

I'm so proud of you, Chris! Good job on stepping out in faith. It's not an easy thing to do. This book that I'm going thru with a friend, it's called, "The Marriage Builder", it has such wisdom for life and relationships even though it was specifically written for the marriage relationship. The focus of the book is this picture of someone standing on a cliff over the abyss of rejection and there is a choice to remain in safety & security on the cliff or to jump and rely/trust that the rope of God's love is going to always be there holding you. It is a truthful & amazing picture! It has helped me so much in this life I'm living. "we walk by faith, not by sight" Love you!
